To serve the words of The Lord is for everyone

Dissipation

“No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to one, and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and mammon.” Luke 16:13 We dissipate our power, our skills, or gifts to serve mammon. We have desire for others love, for others attention, for awe and reverence, for others money, for others spouses. We want to be loved by people, have their favour, their thoughts, service. But at the same time we want God. Or we don’t want God. Sometimes we want and sometimes not. But other people belong to God. Their love, their attention. Their awe and reverence, their money, their spouses. God wants to be loved by them. God wants their favour. God wants their thoughts, their service. So we all dissipate through giving and taking between ourselves. Not to God. Maybe He gets the leftovers when we have satisfied ourselves. Jesus forgive us our guilt, let us give everything to You and To God the Father. Amen
