We are so used to overindulgence. We eat our sisters and brothers, the animals. We eat each other, mentally and physically. Want …. want more…. More… We are eating unrestrainedly, becoming sick with hunger for new tastes, new happenings, new flesh. Leads us to death. It comes closer, standing outside the door. Waiting. The words of God are also there, side by side. Sometimes we notice them, maybe. Busy with our yearning though, we are blind. The real food is vanishing, amongst the corps. They are still seeking us. Possibly finds us one day, suddenly we see. The words that give life, strength, insight. The words that fulfil our longing, all our aspirations. The ones that we have and have always had. Deep inside, even if we didn’t know about them.
